About: The Ent Center for the Arts is seeking friendly volunteers to support our usher program. Ushers are tasked with scanning tickets, distributing program, and assisting patrons with navigate the Ent Center to locate theaters, restrooms, and the box office.
Qualifications: Volunteers can be alumni or friends of UCCS. Volunteers should be able to stand and move about the Ent Center over the course of a few hours.
Expectations: Volunteers are expected to stay to watch the performance at least through the end of intermission. Volunteers are expected to be professional, friendly, and courteous when serving in their role. Professional staff members will be available to support volunteers as well.
Where do I park? Free parking is available for volunteers across the street from the Ent Center in Lot 576. See map below for more details.
Is there a volunteer dress code? We ask that volunteers wear solid color, button down, shirts and black or dark pants. Closed toe/heel shoes. You will be provided with a vest and flashlights for use while on the job.
Volunteer Impact: Volunteers and students will build mutually rewarding relationships focused on live arts presentation. These interactions will consist of shared experiences, knowledge, and role modeling.
