About: Usher for the "Colorado Vocal Arts" performance in the Shockley-Zalabak Theatre.
The program can be as flexible as needed or as consistent as desired. Starting off as individual dates the goal would be to build a core group interested in volunteering roughly twice a month or more throughout the academic year
Time Commitment: Arrive at 6P show starts at 7P and will be over by 930P.
Most shows require 2.5 to 4 hour commitment and happen any days except Monday evenings.
Expectations: Scan tickets and hand out programs, be able to direct patrons to the correct theatres, restrooms, or other locations through out the building. Be able to stay to watch the performance at least through the end of intermission.
Free parking across the street in lot 576.
We ask that volunteers wear solid color, button down, shirts and black or dark pants. Closed toe/heel shoes.
You will be provided with a vest and flashlights for use while on the job.
Usher meetings will normally take place in the lobby by rm 106

Impact: Volunteers and students will build mutually rewarding relationships focused on live arts presentation. These interactions will consist of shared experiences, knowledge, and role modeling.
