About: We are seeking volunteers to help us staff the spring 2022 graduation bash on May 11. Grad Bash is an event the alumni and friends office hosts every semester for graduating students to help them kick off their commencement festivities and welcome them to the alumni association. Grad Bash features a free beer and pint glass for students, food, and fun with friends. Volunteers are needed to staff the event tables including the check-in table, the traditions challenge table, and more.
Time Commitment: We ask volunteers to arrive by 5:00 p.m. on the 11th to get checked in and trained on their volunteer duties. Event doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event ends at 7:00 p.m. Volunteer duties will likely conclude around 7:15 p.m.
Qualifications: Volunteers can be alumni or friends of UCCS.
Impact: Our students look forward to this free celebration as they prepare to graduate. Having extra volunteer help ensures they have a great experience and allows volunteers to join in the fun by giving students a well earned night of fun.
Parking Details: Parking is free for this event. Volunteers can park near the University Center on the UCCS Campus (located at: Parking Lot 222 or 224, 1420 Austin Bluffs Pkwy, Colorado Springs, CO 80918).
