About: We are seeking volunteers to help us staff the Graduation Fair event on April 6 and 7. Graduation Fair is an event for graduating students to prepare for their upcoming commencement ceremony. The alumni and friends office hosts a table to give away free t-shirts to grads and share information about upcoming graduation events and the class gift. Volunteers will help promote events and give out t-shirts.
All volunteers will also take home a UCCS alumni t-shirt!
Time Commitment: We ask volunteers to sign up for a two hour volunteer shift for this opportunity. Shifts are listed below.
Qualifications: Volunteers can be alumni or friends of UCCS.
Impact: Volunteering for this opportunity allows the alumni office to continue offering students free shirts and a friendly face at the student Graduation Fair.
Parking Details: Parking costs will be covered for volunteers for a total of three hours. Volunteers will meet at the University Center on the UCCS Campus (located at: Parking Lot 222 or 224, 1420 Austin Bluffs Pkwy, Colorado Springs, CO 80918).
In order for us to cover your parking costs and to avoid you being cited with a parking ticket we will provide you with a parking tag to hang on your rearview mirror upon arrival at the event. A meet up spot will be established on an individual basis to get you a parking tag on the day of the event. Eligibility for a free parking tag closes on April 3! If you register after that time you will be responsible for your parking costs. Should you forego picking up and hanging a parking tag or arrive after check-in ends you will be responsible for your parking fees or citations you receive.
