About: We are seeking volunteers to help us staff UCCS’s Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony! There are various roles that we need our Alumni & Friends volunteers to fill on Friday, May 16 at the Broadmoor World Arena.
Indoor photo station support - Offer to take pictures of graduates and/or families/friends in front of backdrop. Volunteers need to be comfortable taking pictures and handling a variety of phone models.
Indoor Wayfinder (Handout QR code flyers) - Give a handout to each family and directing graduates to check-in.
Outdoor Wayfinder (Handout QR code flyers) - Ensure graduates get directed to graduate entrance (club entrance) and that families see the restricted items list. Help answer questions before guests enter the arena.
Ushers/greeters - Be a friendly face! Answer questions and point people in the right direction.
Impact: Your presence at commencement shows our graduates that the journey continues with a strong, supportive community. Your participation enriches the ceremony and inspires the next generation.
Time Commitment: Commencement is on Friday, May 16, 2025. Volunteers should plan to arrive at Broadmoor World Arena at 8:15am if supporting the morning Commencement and arrive at 12:30pm if supporting the afternoon Commencement. Please enter at the Club Entrance and let staff know that you are a volunteer.
Qualifications: Volunteers can be alumni or friends of UCCS.
Parking Details: Parking is in the parking lot at Broadmoor World Arena.
