Not only has Cindy Bond, '99, earned two degrees from two different CU institutions, but she has also donated her time and talents to UCCS in order to pay it forward to the university and its future students! She enjoys volunteering in the great outdoors as well as assisting with scholarship application reviews and advises others to volunteer as well.

After following a nontraditional academic path, Kayla Gronseth Boyer, '17, '18, is committed to volunteering to help students at UCCS succeed. She is now an eComm program manager for UCCS and takes up any opportunity that comes her way to help the university.

Steve Parker, '77, '96, has offered his talents to many people over the years, including working in both the private and public sectors as well as volunteering with UCCS. Parker is passionate about giving back to the university that gave him so much and encourages others to do the same.

Heather Fairburn, '18, has made the most of her challenging academic career, taking the time to help fellow students with difficult courses, participating in the Write a Mountain Lion program, and reading and scoring student scholarship applications. She encourages others to explore the UCCS Volunteering website to see what is being offered that interests you, because, whether you can see it or not, volunteering makes a difference.
