Volunteer Spotlight: Mary Koepp

Mary Koepp, '12, has a passion for performing arts and the theatre, and she applies this passion to her volunteering at UCCS by participating in the Write a Mountain Lion campaign as well as helping to usher at events at the Ent Center for the Arts and the Theatre Works program. She recommends volunteering at UCCS because it is worthwhile, accommodates your schedules, and offers opportunities for every interest!

Jacque Jewell, '20, has made many contributions to the UCCS campus and its students, including volunteering at the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative Case and Essay Competitions as well as serving on the College of Business Alumni Leadership Team. She hopes to encourage others to volunteer because she believes in the value of connection and the importance of preparing younger generations for the workforce.

Travis Tafoya, '16, was very involved during his time at UCCS as a student, and he has continued his involvement with the campus and the community after graduating by volunteering with his fraternity and reviewing student scholarship applications. He reflects on his volunteer work by saying he is passionate about it, and that it allows him to make a difference for students.

Kyle Boyle, '18, has made a lasting impact on UCCS and its community with the contributions of his time and talent. He has assisted with reviewing student applications for the Kane Scholarship as well as numerous other volunteer opportunities. Kyle encourages others to volunteer, as it gives a sense of pride towards yourself, the community, and the organization, and it makes a larger impact than many realize.
