About: The Chancellor's Leadership Class is hosting it's annual Day of Service event. This event allows UCCS alumni and current CLC scholars to connect and share their experiences all while volunteering to benefit the Colorado Springs community. We are partnering with several community organizations for this event, including the Habitats for Humanity ReStore! We will be starting the day with coffee and breakfast at UCCS and we will be heading to our individual volunteer sites from there! If you are unable to attend, but would still like to participate in the Day of Service, we encourage you to be active in your own community!
Volunteer Expectations: Volunteer are expected to arrive on time and prepared to volunteer. Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather as some activities may be outdoors and bring water bottles.
Time Commitment: 5 hours. This event is approximately 5 hours, but volunteers are welcome to volunteer for however long they are able.
Impact: This event is designed to give back to the Colorado Springs Community. We will be volunteering at several locations in the Colorado Springs are as a way of giving back to the community. CLC receives a lot of support from the community so this is a great way to get involved and improve our city.
